Whatelse: a lovely relaxed saturday with pancakes in the morning with Jeroen, Bertien, Mare and Ole, little lunch, some sun on the roof and some play in the playground.

Wine: 2003, merlot, Lindemans, Australia (lovely slobber)

With whom: Lynda, Olivier, Janine
Whatelse: rounded of the dinner at a different location, restaurant Flo in Amsterdam, with Donagh, Angela, Stephane, Jeroen, Eva and Catherine and enjoyed the tail-end of the team dinner, with an amazing chocolate fondant and a gorgeous Sancerre. Stayed out in Schiller until ridiculously late!

Whatelse: a vegetarian cheese sandwhich on the plane and some leftover pasta from Olivier at home (glad to be back again)

Where: restaurant Augustiner Brau, Munchen, Germand
With whom: Monika
Whatelse: surrounded by singing Portugese and quiet French on their way to the match, sitting outside on a terrasse opposite the huge Hofbrau Haus and prior to watching the match at probably the quietest little bar in Munich

Where: Olympia Stadium, Munchen, Germany
With whom: Maciek, Monika
Whatelse: prior to watching the semi-final between Germany and Italy on a big screen at the Olympia stadium in Munich, we enjoyed a quick dinner outside in 30 degrees heat. The stadium is quite impressive and even though it was built in 1972 still seems very modern,

Whatelse: interesting conversations on a beautiful (but maybe a tad too hot) terrasse overlooking Het Nieuwe Meer, whilst enjoying some delicious food. The main-course was preceded by a quartet of lobster: a bisque, a mini-lobster club sandwich, lobster fried in tempura and a grand tortellini

Whatelse: a wonderful surprise visit by my aunt (at a congress in Rotterdam), my parents (Hilda suddenly got a studio on Groningen so they had to return from Sweden before plan) and great dinner by Lynda

What: full-on Indian cuisine
Wine: none (Kingfisher beer)
Where: Indian restaurant, Wimbledon, London, UK
With whom: Martin, Tiffany, Jay, Jeroen
Whatelse: first time at Wimbledon was great, even though we saw no tennis at all (due to rain) and Australia lost to Italy (poor Martin and Jeroen). The dinner was uphill from the All England and was more than enjoyable.
