What: Lambada strawberries (the best NL breed), cherries and grapes; salmon and eel, with horeradish/creme fraiche mix and dille on toast; peach salsa, BBQ grilled sardines and salade nicoise; sauseges, steak (both off the BBQ) with coleslaw, and some coffe and chocolate
Wine: Champagne Sourdet-Diot (cuvee prestive) - edgy, but lovely; La Louviere, Pessac-Leognan (1996) - brilliant, brilliant (!!) white Graves; a rose from Chateau les Vignais (nice); and a wonderful Margeaux from Chateau Labegorce Lede (1996) - toppie, sans cork
